OUR CREDANCE

The Mountain Lakes Ministry Private Membership Association’s main objective is to profess the Good News wherein we operate under a three-fold ministry; sowing peace wherever possible, freedom with consideration of each other, and encouragement in confidence to stand. We believe that we have been endowed with inalienable rights by our Creator of which the Constitution of the United States serves to protect. In this freedom we serve to support each other at whatever level we desire and are able, to continue the individual growth of our members and the purpose of this Association.

Our property of 150 acres lies 5 miles west of Walsenburg next to Lathrop Park, just close enough to enjoy recreational water sports and secluded enough to enjoy peaceful star-gazing atop our ridge overlooking the lakes and surrounding mountains. Experience the natural wildlife, taste fresh organic produce and try your hand at cow wrangling. Our private association provides exclusive access to a world of unique experiences where the heart of our ministry is to refresh your soul and encourage your heart.

WHAT IS A PRIVATE MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATION?

A Private Membership Association is a constitutional right under the 1st ammendment. The freedom to associate together without the interference by the State is a constitutional shelter that is upheld by the Supreme Court. A United States citizen has the right to conduct business in the private domain without licensing, regulation, or interference from the state as long as no clear and present danger of substantive evil exists.

What People Say

I like this place the people are very helpful and respectful and I give them 10 stars but I know it’s only five, but I give them five more because they help people that need help and is a need for help very friendly. I love it here. PS keep up the good work and God will bless you every way that you look. Stay blessed and have a good day.

It’s a new park so it is still in the works. But Joe is a superb hostess and helps with anything you need help with. We will be back to kayak in that beautiful lake. Thanks so much Joe. May God bless you with everything.

Marie Westmoreland

Wife took ill in Walsenburg, she had to go to the ER in town. They really saved me, and it was a great place to stay.
