Freedom of Choice

Freedom of choice is a right given by the Creator. Whether our choices magnify the glory of God or serve our own desires and purposes, He respects our choice and allows us the opportunity to grow and mature in our successes as well as our mistakes. Freedom to live, to buy and sell, to grow and build. The key to embracing true freedom lies deep within His words. They are healing, accepting, and changing. Take what you will to help you along your path.

Where does freedom come from

Everyone has different ideas of what freedom means. Ultimately it is a place where there is inexpressible joy, too great for words. It is a feeling that you never want to end. It is that longing deep within you that longs to be free, you may not even know what it is. You do know what it isn’t. God calls it our hearts desire.

Sometimes we feel confined by a situation, a relationship, our environment. We want to burst out from the control only to find ourselves locked in once again. Why can’t we find the freedom that evades us our entire lives. We look out at our surroundings as the problem when in truth it is internal. It is the lies that have crept into our minds disguised as truth.

Whether we want to admit it or not, we look to others for truth. We choose what we want to believe not knowing that ultimately it is a lie. There is a way before each person that seems right but it ends in death; death of our dreams, death of our future, death of our life. There is only one choice that brings freedom. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through him.
